Thinker-Tinker is committed to protecting your privacy. We take privacy seriously at Thinker-Tinker and this policy is designed to share what information we collect and how we use it.

If you do not want Thinker-Tinker to collect, store, use, or share your personal information in the ways described in this Privacy Policy, you may not play our games or use our Services.

Our Privacy Policy applies whenever you use our “Services” which, as we described above, means our games, products, services, content, our websites, for example at www.thinker-tinker.com, and/or other domains or websites operated by Thinker-Tinker and our social media accounts and pages. It describes the ways we use your (personal) data and your rights.

Thinker-Tinker may change or update the Privacy Policy at any time as we add new or different products or features, or as the law changes. The changes are effective upon posting. You should review the Privacy Policy frequently.

This Privacy Policy is also part of the Terms of Service that explain your rights and responsibilities and Thinker-Tinker’s when using Thinker-Tinker’s services and sites. CHILDREN'S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION

The Services are backed by our Child Safe Guarantee. This means that Accounts will never include any pop-up ads or other advertisements directed to children ("Children" as defined by individuals under the age of 13).

We may collect age information before allowing a player to proceed for certain games. For players who identify themselves as Children in our age-gate on such games, if we allow Children to use the games, we will either provide a version of that games that does not collect, use, or disclose “personal data” (as defined in the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”)), except as permitted by COPPA or obtain legally valid legal guardian consent.

DATA COLLECTION

We will collect and store any data that you provide to us, including when you create your account or a player profile while using our games in the Applications.

There are two types of data that may be collected. The first one is called personal data. This is personally identifiable information that identifies a user as an individual. Thinker-Tinker may collect personal data that parents voluntarily provide in the app or on the website. The second type is non personal data which doesn’t directly identify an individual or which may have been personal information but has had the personally identifiable information removed. Thinker-Tinker may collect non personal information about the use of the website and apps to help us improve our services.

PERSONAL DATA

While you use our games, you may give us data directly (like when you are setting up your account), and we will store that data on our databases and use it for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

When you use our games you may give us the data like:

  • first and last name
  • nickname
  • gender
  • age
  • e-mail address; or
  • other information that helps us make sure it is you accessing your account or helps us improve our Services

We collect personal data when an account is created, a user subscribes to a newsletter or alert, submits content to a forum or blog, or requests technical support. This data may include a name (screen or nickname), gender, birth date, and email address. This information may be used to contact users ("Users" as defined by individuals ages 13 and older) about new services and features and to send push notifications if consent to receive them has been given.

Additionally, if you downloaded the App on your mobile device to access the Services, as part of your use of the Services we may ask if you would like to receive push notifications, which may include alerts and notifications, badges, banners, and sounds on your mobile device. You may choose to stop receiving push notifications at any time by changing the settings on your mobile device.

PAYMENT DATA

When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site and/ or App(s), we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to: 

  • Communicate with you; 
  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and 
  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
THIRD-PARTY DATA

We collect some information from other entities, including social networks like Facebook, if you access our games through your accounts with those entities or you choose to connect your accounts with those companies to our Services.

If you play our games through any third-party applications, including Facebook, Thinker-Tinker may receive certain data about you from the provider of the third-party application. The information we receive depends on our game you are playing, the third-party application, and your privacy settings on that third-party application. For instance, we may collect and store some or all of the following information from the provider of the connected third-party application:

  • first and last name
  • your user ID (Facebook ID), which may be linked to publicly-available information (public profile) like your name and profile photo
  • e-mail address you provided to that third-party application
  • physical location and that of the devices you use to access our Services
  • gender
  • age
  • information about your activities on or through the connected third-party application
  • other publicly-available data on the third-party application; and/or
  • any other information that you or the provider of the third-party application share with us.

If you access our Services from a third-party application or connect our Services to a third-party application, you should also read that third-party application’s terms of use and their privacy policy.

Please note that if a user posts personal information about themselves in a community forum or blog, in addition to being collected, this data is made public for others to see. The user is responsible for the disclosure of any such data in those forums.

NON-PERSONAL DATA

When you use our Services, we collect data about the ways in which you use and interact with our games, such as when and for how long you play, game features and other players you interact with, purchases you make, progress or levels you achieve, and other gameplay activities. We also collect crash data such as crash logs to diagnose issues in our games.

To help us provide you with the best service, we work with third party analytics providers. These companies help us to understand your use of the site and apps.

When you visit the Site and/ or use our Services, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.” This information is for internal use only and can’t be shared. It’s just for us to help us improve our services for you. We may use cookies and web beacons to help deliver and analyze our services (e.g., by counting the number of times a page or advert has been viewed).

Thinker-Tinker may also use third parties from time to time to deliver a service, such as payment processing, sending emails, or helping with customer or technical support. We only work with companies that follow this privacy policy and agree not to use your information for any other purposes. TRANSFER OF DATA

As you can see, we collect minimal personal data from users who wish to provide it, and some non personal data for internal use only or in conjunction with third parties to help us operate, analyze, and improve our sites and services. In addition, we may disclose your personal or non personal information to additional parties if we believe we are required to by law, by a judicial proceeding, to protect Thinker-Tinker’s rights and properties, or to investigate fraud, intellectual property infringement, and any other conduct that might be illegal or expose Thinker-Tinker or a user of its services to legal liability. In addition, Thinker-Tinker may disclose your information in the event of a change or proposed change in the ownership of the company; for example, a sale, a merger, or bankruptcy.

 

DATA RETENTION

We’ll keep your information for as long as necessary to provide you with the Services, maintain our legitimate business operations, and/or exercise, defend or establish our rights.

How long we retain your personal information depends on why we collected it and how we use it, but we will not retain your personal information for longer than is necessary for our business purposes or for legal requirements.

We will retain personal information about you and connected with your account and/or the Services you use from us for as long as you have an active account with us. We will take reasonable measures to delete this personal information if you delete your account. However, you acknowledge that we may retain some information after you have closed, or we have deleted, your account with us where necessary to enable us to meet our legal obligations or to exercise, defend, or establish our rights. 

 

LINKS; THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We may include links to third parties from our website or services. Thinker-Tinker isn’t responsible for these companies and including a link to them doesn’t mean that Thinker-Tinker endorses them. So be sure to check their privacy policies if you decide to visit them. And remember, your use of Thinker-Tinker’s sites and services may also be subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policies of other services that Thinker-Tinker doesn’t control such as mobile application stores, mobile software platforms, online social media sites, or payment processors.

SECURITY

Thinker-Tinker uses generally accepted security measures and safeguards in an attempt to keep the data it collects secure and requires that the third parties it works with agree to do the same. The measures and safeguards include limiting access to the data to those persons who need it to complete their work for Thinker-Tinker, using a firewall protected environment, and storing personal information in secure operating environments. That said, Thinker-Tinker cannot and does not guarantee and does not accept liability for unintentional disclosure.

It is important that you protect and maintain your Thinker-Tinker Services account’s security and that you immediately tell us of any unauthorized use of your account. If you access our Services through Facebook, or third-party service, and your account is hacked or otherwise compromised, this may lead to someone accessing or deleting your game accounts without your permission. So, be careful to keep your Facebook account information, including your social network account password, secure as well. We urge you to log out of your Thinker-Tinker Services account and any social network account you have used to access our Services when you are finished using them.

UPDATE USER DATA; REMOVE INFORMATION

Thinker-Tinker keeps your content for as long as necessary in providing its services. If you want to opt out of services, or review or delete your information, please contact us at hello@thinker-tinker.com.
